Investigation of Kyrgyz Learners’ Engagement in Online Courses

This study aimed to investigate Kyrgyz learners' engagement in online courses. In this respect, the Student Engagement Scale and appropriate open-ended questions were employed in order to obtain data from learners. Educational Metaphors: High School Students' Perceptions of Schools in Kyrgyzstan

Focusing on the case study of post-Soviet Kyrgyzstan, this article examines high school students' perception of their schools and education by using metaphors. A total of 1433 high school students participated in this research. Novel analytical and approximate-analytical methods for solving the nonlinear fractional smoking mathematical model

Smoking is globally a challenging issue that causes many fatal health problems. In this paper, a nonlinear fractional smoking mathematical model is proposed in the context of a modi-fied form of the Caputo fractional-order derivative. The analytical and approximate-analytical solutions are obtained for the proposed mathematical model via the fractional differential transform method (FDTM) and Laplace Adomian decomposition method (LADM). In the study, panel data analysis was conducted on 32 OECD countries covering the period 1990-2018. The solvability of the optimal control problem for a nonlinear Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we analyze the solvability of the optimal control problem for a nonlinear Schrodinger equation. A Lions-type functional is considered as the objective functional. First, it is shown that the optimal control problem has at least one solution. Later, the Frechet differentiability of the objective functional is proved and a formula is obtained for its gradient.
