Synthesis, characterization, and application of silver nanoparticle-thiophenol nanocomposite film on the glassy carbon surface

In this study, 4-thiophenol modified glassy carbon electrode was prepared by the reduction of 4-diazothiophenol tetrafluoroborate salt. Silver nanoparticles were attached to the thiophenol modified surface to prepare a thiophenol-silver nanoparticle composite film. 4-Aminothiopenol molecules were deposited by self-assembling technique to form multi-layered nanofilms of TP/SNP/PhNH2 on glassy carbon substrate. Detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 using immunomagnetic separation and mPCR in Turkish foods of animal origin

The present study was conducted to investigate the presence of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in food samples of animal origin and to detect its virulence genes by immunomagnetic separation technique and multiplex PCR (mPCR). A total of 500 samples (consisting of diced meat, minced meat, burger, raw cow's milk and raw cow's milk cheese) were analysed. Cytochemistry of peripheral blood leukocytes in thoroughbred foals

We attempted to characterize the cytochemical staining patterns of leukocytes and to determine the percentages of alpha-naphthyl acetate esterase (ANAE) and acid phosphatase (ACPase) positive lymphocytes in peripheral blood of thoroughbred foals at different ages. Blood samples were obtained from the jugular veins of 60 healthy thoroughbred foals, 1 day, 3 days and 1 year old. Each age group included 10 male and 10 female animals. Electrochemically modified sulfisoxazole nanofilm on glassy carbon for determination of cadmium(II) in water samples

Surface characterization of dinitrophenyl-diaminophenyl nanoplatform on glassy carbon
