Two new records of the Coniopteryx (Neuroptera: Coniopterygidae) species for the Turkish fauna

Savaş CANBULAT

Two species of the family Coniopterygidae, Coniopteryx (Xeroconiopteryx) loipetsederi H. Aspöck, 1963 and C. (Coniopteryx) borealis Tjeder, 1931, are here recorded for the first time in the Turkish fauna. Morphological and ecological notes as well as the distribution map with new recording sites are also provided. For C. loipetsederi, this is the most eastern record, and the eastern limits of the range of C. borealis have also been extended. - Keywords: Neuroptera, Coniopterygidae, Coniopteryx loipetsederi, Coniopteryx borealis, new records, Turkey

Trace metal levels in edible wild fungi

Zeki SEVEROĞLU

Metal levels (cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, iron, nickel, lead and zinc) of seventeen different edible wild fungi species (Agaricus campestris, Calocybe gambosa, Coprinus comatus, Hericium coralloides, Hydnum repandum, H. repandum var. rufescens, Lactarius deliciosus, L. salminocolor, Macrolepiota procera, Pleurotus ostreatus, P. ostreatus var. columbinus, Ramaria aurea, R. stricta, Rhizopogon luteolus, Sparassis crispa, Suillus bovinus, Tricholoma terreum) growing in Bolu-Turkey were measured by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrocopy. The obtained data were analyzed with ...More

Savaş CANBULAT

Osmylus multiguttatus McLachlan, 1870 has recently been rediscovered in the Middle Anatolia. Redescription of the male and female is presented. Faunistic data and habitat are provided. Photograph of wings, drawings of male and female external and internal genitalia are illustrated for the first time. The distribution map with new recording sites and recent data is also given. A preliminary key to species of Osmylus is presented. - Key words: Osmylidae, Osmylus, Osmylus multiguttatus, redescription, genitalia, Turkey

Trigonometrik Denklem Sistemlerinin Çözümünde Görsel ve Analitik Uygulama Üzerine Bir Çalışma = Study on the Visual and Analytical Application for Solution of Trigonometric Equation Systems

Ahmet DOĞAN | Elmira ABDILDAYEVA

Solving trigonometric equations, diagrams, and graphics and visual images in the form of a better understanding of the problem as well as strategies for providing the information to be permanent. The graphical approach to the solution of equation system gives a wider perspective, conceptual learning, and facilitates the transfer of information . In this study, f (cosθ, sinθ) = 0, g (cosθ, sinθ) = 0, the two-equation system analytical transformations made a trigonometric equation f (x, y) = 0, g (x, y) = 0 equations created . These new correlations perpendicular to the same coordinate system, d ...More

Güneybatı Anadolu Bölgesi Tipulidae (diptera) Türlerinin Fenolojisi = The phenology of Tipulidae (Diptera) species in the southwestern Anatolia Region

Savaş CANBULAT

Bu çalışmada, Güneybatı Anadolu Bölgesinden bilinen Tipulidae (Diptera) türlerinin bölgedeki uçuş zamanları incelenmiştir. Araştırma alanında yer alan Antalya, Aydın, Burdur, Denizli, Isparta ve Muğla il sınırları içerisinde 2002 – 2006 yılları ve her yılın Mart – Ekim ayları arasında arazi çalışmaları gerçekleştirilmiş ve toplam 63 tipulid taksonu belirlenmiştir. Arazi çalışmalarının yapıldığı her bir ay 4 haftaya ayrılmıştır. Örneklerin toplandığı tarihin denk geldiği hafta işaretlenerek tipulid türlerinin uçuş zamanları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ergin tipulid örneklerine Mart’tan Ekim’e k ...More

Contribution To Neuroptera (insecta) Fauna Of Tokat Province Of Turkey

Savaş CANBULAT

In this study, a total of 641 Neuroptera were collected between May and August 2005, in order to determine the Neuroptera fauna of the Tokat province. Collected specimens were determined to belong to 44 species, 24 genera and 6 families, which is 21 percentage of the number of neuropteroids recorded in Turkey. Occurrence of two species (Chrysopa hungarica and Hemerobius (H.) gilvus) previously reported from the area, has not been confirmed during the fieldwork of this study. 41 species are the first records for the Neuroptera fauna of Tokat province. The most abundant and most frequent species ...More

Uniqueness and stability of solutions of linear intergral equations of the first kind with two variables

Avıt ASANOV | Mustafa Haluk ÇELİK

In this paper is dedicated to the research of the problem of uniqueness and stability of solutions for linear integral Equations of the first kind with two variables. Here the operator generated by the kernels is not the compact operator.

Uniqueness and Stability of Solutions for Certain Linear Equations of the First Kind With Two Variables = Единственность и устойчивость решений для некоторых интегральных уравнений первого рода с двумя независимыми переменными

Avıt ASANOV

The article is devoted to the study of uniqueness and stability of solutions of linear integral equations of the first kind with two independent variables. The relevance of the problem is due to the needs in development of new approaches for the regularization and uniqueness of the solution of linear integral equations of the first kind with two independent variables. Integral and operator equations of the first kind with two independent variables arise in theoretical and applied problems.Works of A.N. Tikhonov, M.M. Lavrentyev and B.K. Ivanov, in which a new concept of correctness of setting ...More

Cadmium-induced physiological and genotoxic alterations in Bryophyllum daigremontianum

Zeki SEVEROĞLU

When evaluating the negative impacts of heavy metals in the environment, plants can be used as biological indicators in assessing damage done by bio-accumulation of heavy metals. For detecting the genotoxic effects of heavy metals, the RAPD-PCR technique is applied in plants. In this study, Blyophyllum daigremontianum was used as a bio-indicator for Cadmium (Cd) pollution. B. daigremontianum plantlets were obtained from bulbiliferous spurs. They were grown singly in standard pots and each of the experimental groups of 5 replicates were watered daily with Hoagland solution (20 ml) containing 0, ...More
