Injury by Regions Seen in Greco-Roman andFreestyle Wrestling

Background/Purpose: This study aimed to examine the regional differences of injuries of Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestlers. Participants (age: M 21.15 years, SD 3.54 years) comprised 100 Greco-Roman wrestlers and 100 freestyle wrestlers who attended national and international events from Kyrgyzstan and Turkey. Results indicated that whereas freestyle wrestlers suffered from knee, hand, wrist, and shoulder injuries more frequently than did Greco-Roman wrestlers, the latter experienced more rib, back, shoulder, and elbow injuries. Fabrication of an Electrochemical E. coli Biosensor in Biowells Using Bimetallic Nanoparticle-Labelled Antibodies

An electrochemical biosensor was developed for the determination of Escherichia coli (E. coli) in water. For this purpose, silver-gold core-shell (Ag@Au) bioconjugates and anti-E. coli modified PS-microwells were designed in a sandwich-type format in order to obtain higher sensitivity and selectivity. Checklist of Turkish Raphidioptera on the basis of distribution pattern and biogeographical analysis

An updated checklist of the species of Turkish Raphidioptera and further analysis concerning their zoogeographical distribution are presented in this study. The present checklist has been based on studies from the literature and includes records from extensive material that I have identified over the last few years. The article analyzes the findings from the destroyed site of Krasnyi Stroitel located on the bank of the Ala-Archa River at the northern outskirts of the city of Bishkek, in the Chuy Valley, Kyrgyzstan. In this area, now taken by a city dump, local school students accidentally found some valuable artifacts, including objects of gold and silver. The gradual Cl replacement reactions of NN (1–3) or NO spirocyclic monoferrocenyl cyclotriphosphazenes (4 and 5) with the potassium salt of 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (potassium vanillinate) resulted in the mono (1a–5a), geminal (gem-1b–5b), non-geminal (cis-5b and trans -1b–4b), tri (1c, 3c–5c) and tetra-vanillinato-substituted phosphazenes (1d–5d). All the phosphazene derivatives have stereogenic P-center(s), except tetra-substituted ones. In this paper we investigate the problem of distributed optimal control for the oscillation processes described by Fredholm integro-differential equations with partial derivatives when the function of the external source depends nonlinearly on the control parameters. We have developed an algorithm for finding approximate solutions of nonlinear optimization problems with arbitrary precision. Effect of different storage temperatures on the stability of bovine viral diarrhea virus RNA in blood samples

The present study was conducted to determine stability of Bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) RNA stored at different temperatures. A total of 6 blood samples obtained from a private cattle farm, which were found to be antigen positive (Ag+) by direct ELISA method, were used in this study. BVDV Ag+ samples were stored separately at 4, 21 and 37oC for 1 month. The samples were analyzed on the 0, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th weeks by ELISA for the presence of BVDV Ag and by RT-PCR for the presence of BVDV RNA.
