Expression of steroidogenic enzymes in placentome of ewes with pregnancy toxemia after two parturition induction methods

The regulation pattern of important enzymes in placental steroidogenesis and prostaglandin production in ewes with pregnancy toxemia is reviewed. The alterations of gene expressions after the administration of aglepristone (AG) and dexamethasone (DEX) are also discussed. Gender differences, risk attitude and entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan

This study analyses the role of risk attitude for entrepreneurship by gender differences in Kyrgyzstan. Logit analysis is applied to the cross-sectional data set drawn from the nationally representative survey for 2011. Entrepreneurship is measured by the self-employment activities and analysed by the agricultural and non-agricultural sample. Results of the study show that more risk-taking preferences are associated with higher entrepreneurship probability. Results of survey from a snowball convenient sample of Kyrgyz respondents (N = 216) showed that employees of private sector are more likely to use government websites than those of government employees themselves and level of knowledge about security issues directly related to intention to use of Kyrgyz government websites.
