Hegemonic Stability Theory And Secessionist Movements In The Middle East During The 1990s

The Kurdish problem had played a big role in foreign policies of countries in the Middle East, mainly Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Russia during the 1990s. This article tries to answer the question of how Kurdish problem shaped and changed the international subsystem in the Middle East between the first Gulf War in 1991 and the second Gulf War in 2003.
