A novel surface plasmon resonance enhanced total internal reflection ellipsometric application: electrochemically grafted isophthalic acid nanofilm on gold surface

Ali Osman SOLAK

The scope of this study is to modify a Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) sensor slide with isophthalic acid to evaluate the possible application on the detection of copper(II) ions in aqueous media by total internal reflection ellipsometry. A gold sensor surface was modified by an electrochemical diazonium reduction modification method. The modified surfaces are characterized with cyclic voltammetry (CV) and ellipsometry. Isophthalic acid monolayer modified gold slides were used for in situdetection of aqueous Cu2+ solution with the SPR enhanced total internal reflection ellipsometry (SPRe-TIRE) ...More

Front face fluorescence spectroscopy as a tool for comparison of aromatic amino acids, nucleic acids, vitamin A and FMRP containing in different egg types

Mustafa Haluk ÇELİK

Fluorescence spectroscopy was used to determine contents of amino acids, nucleic acids, Maillard reaction products and vitamin A in whites and yolks of eggs from hens, geese, ducks and quail. The fluorescence spectra obtained varied between egg types and allowed the eggs to be grouped and differentiated from each other on the basis of their composition. Keywords: amino acids; duck eggs; ducks; eggs; fluorometry; geese; maillard reaction; maillard reaction products; nucleic acids; quail eggs; quails; retinoids; spectrofluorometry; spectroscopy; vitamin a; goose eggs
