The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of inward and outward foreign direct investments (FDI) on foreign trade (FT) using panel regression analysis. To this end, 143 coun-tries, which were classified into 5 different development groups according per capita in-come, were subject to 4 separate analyses using FDI and FT data between the years 1980 and 2009. This study concludes that inward and outward FDI affects trade volume at different rates according to a country’s development level. Banking in transition economies differs from developing and developed economies with market system. This study aims to review development of the banking system in Kyrgyzstan since independence. The period under consideration is divided into five stages, each of which has a main distinctive aspect. Despite considerable achievements in last fifteen years the banking system still remains vulnerable to external shocks. Moreover, insufficient institutional infrastructure is one of the fundamental factors retarding further development of the banking system.
The purpose of this paper is to examine students’ perceptions toward drivers of entrepreneurship in the cross cultural context. The sample of the study consists of undergraduate students from Kyrgyzstan (n=200), Bhutan (n=200) and Taiwan (n=200) universities.
