Educational Metaphors: High School Students' Perceptions of Schools in Kyrgyzstan

Focusing on the case study of post-Soviet Kyrgyzstan, this article examines high school students' perception of their schools and education by using metaphors. A total of 1433 high school students participated in this research. Based on the data that we collected from 9th and 10th grade students during field research (January - February 2020) in various regions of Kyrgyzstan and analysed students' answers about their schools. Cybersecurity Awareness in Online Education: A Case Study Analysis

This study presents to what extent Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University students are knowledgeable about cybersecurity in the distance education process. The survey was conducted with a sample of 517 students from all faculties of the university at the undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels. Study of support for high school students from school methodological services (An examination of the support high school students receive from school guidance services)

The aim of the study was to examine the support that high school students have received from school guidance services. The data were collected using a questionnaire which developed by the researcher. The data were collected through guidance counselors from the records of a total of 2 755 students (1 529 females and 1 226 males) who received support from the guidance services of four different high school types. When the results of the study were examined by the gender variable, it was concluded that female students received more support from the school guidance service than male students.
