Need for cognitive closure refers to the need to reach a precise knowledge instead of confusion and ambiguity on a subject and the desire to make a decision as soon as possible. The purpose of the present research is to adapt the 15-item version of the Need for Closure Scale developed by Roets and Van Hiel to Turkish and testing the relationships between thinking and decision-making styles and the need for cognitive closure through the adapted scale. In this paper, the determinants of the intention to use online learning management system (LMS) among students in one of universities in the Kyrgyz Republic were studied, using quantitative and qualitative analysis. A total of 541 responses from students, enrolled in online courses during the fall and spring semesters 2016–2017, were used to examine students attitude toward online education. On a Class of Systems of Linear and Nonlinear Fredholm Integral Equations of the Third Kind with Multipoint Singularities

Based on a new approach, we show that finding solutions for a class of systems of linear (respectively, nonlinear) Fredholm integral equations of the third kind with multipoint singularities is equivalent to finding solutions of systems of linear (respectively, nonlinear) Fredholm integral equations of the second kind with additional conditions. We study the existence, nonexistence, uniqueness, and nonuniqueness of solutions for this class of systems of Fredholm integral equations of the third kind with multipoint singularities.

Peculiarities of Constructing an Optimal Vector Distributed Control with Nonlinear Optimization of Oscillation Processes

Nonlinear optimization problem is investigated for oscillation processes described by Fredholm integro-differential equations in partial derivatives when the function of the external source nonlinearly depends on vector distributed control. It is established that, the optimal control procedure is greatly simplified with vector control. Algorithm is developed for constructing a complete solution of the nonlinear optimization problem.

Application of Faber Polynomials in Proving Combinatorial Identities

We study the possibility of application of Faber polynomials in proving some combinatorial identities. It is shown that the coefficients of Faber polynomials of mutually inverse conformal mappings generate a pair of mutually invertible relations. We prove two identities relating the coefficients of Faber polynomials and the coefficients of Laurent expansions of the corresponding conformal mappings. Some examples are presented.

Polynomial Inequalities in Regions with Zero Interior Angles in the Bergman Space

We study the order of growth of the moduli of arbitrary algebraic polynomials in the weighted Bergman space A(p)(G, h), p > 0, in regions with zero interior angles at finitely many boundary points. We obtain estimates for algebraic polynomials in bounded regions with piecewise smooth boundary.

ON C-u*- AND C-u- EMBEDDED UNIFORM SPACES

For a uniform space uX the concept of C-u-embedding (C-u*-embedding) in some uniform space is introduced. An analogue of Urysohn's Theorem is proved and it is established, that uX is C-u*-embedded in the Wallman beta-like compactification beta X-u, and any compactification of uX in which uX is C-u*-embedded, must be beta X-u. A uniformly realcompact space is determined. It is proved, that uX is C-u-embedded in the Wallman realcompactification v(u)X, and any uniform realcompactification in which uX is C-u -embedded, is v(u)X.
