Energy consumption and economic growth: The case of transition economies

This study investigates the causality relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in 17 transition countries, which are Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Georgia. This study was conducted to investigate the psychosocial effects of parents' absence on children left behind in the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan). A survey was conducted in 2018 with a sample of 457 secondary school children aged 11-18-years-old in the Kyrgyz Republic.
