Она была случайно обнаружена в Кочкорской долине Тянь-Шаня и передана на хранение в Государственный исторический музей Кыргызской Республики. Efficient in vitro plant regeneration from immature embryos of endemic Iris sari and I. schachtii

Plant tissue culture is an efficient technique for conserving endemic plant species. A reproducible in vitro regeneration protocol was developed for the endemic Iris sari and Iris schachtii in the present study. The highest number of shoots per explant was obtained on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/L thidiazuron (TDZ) plus 0.5 mg/L α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 1 mg/L TDZ plus 0.5 mg/L NAA, whereby 96.88% and 100% shoot induction with 9.55 and 11.34 shoots per explant of Iris sari and Iris schachtii were recorded, respectively. An influence of Peptide Factors of Prostate Adenoma in Men on Morphological and Functional Condition of Prostate Gland of Experimental Rabbits

In experimental conditions, an influence of intramuscular introducing of peptides, isolated from man prostate adenoma, was studied on 25 male rabbits. It was shown, that intramuscular introducing Fraction 1 to animals, to their tissue of prostate glands, during 15 days forms an intensive excrescence of connective tissue. In rabbits, which received Fraction 2, proliferation of glands’ epithelium is formed. Two new records of the Coniopteryx (Neuroptera: Coniopterygidae) species for the Turkish fauna

Two species of the family Coniopterygidae, Coniopteryx (Xeroconiopteryx) loipetsederi H. Aspöck, 1963 and C. (Coniopteryx) borealis Tjeder, 1931, are here recorded for the first time in the Turkish fauna. Morphological and ecological notes as well as the distribution map with new recording sites are also provided. The purpose of this study was to investigate the formation of the plexus sacralis in the Kyrgyz pheasant (Phasianus colchicus mongolicus) and the origin of the nerves emerging from the plexus sacralis. Five adult male Kyrgyz pheasants were used that had been hunted in their natural habitat near the town of Tokmok in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan. Composite Bows from Uch-kurbu in Kyrgyzstan

The article addresses the topic of composite bows from nomadic sites in Tien Shan and Zhetysu. Horn plates from bows discovered in 2008–2009 at Uch-Kurbu on the Tosor River, the Issyk-Kul Depression (Kyrgyzstan), are described and analyzed. The original design of the wooden core of the bow and the location of horn plates thereon are reconstructed. Redescription of Osmylus multiguttatus McLachlan, 1870 (Neuroptera: Osmylidae) with distributional remarks

Osmylus multiguttatus McLachlan, 1870 has recently been rediscovered in the Middle Anatolia. Redescription of the male and female is presented. Faunistic data and habitat are provided. Photograph of wings, drawings of male and female external and internal genitalia are illustrated for the first time. The distribution map with new recording sites and recent data is also given.
