Agar and Sesame Oil Based Organo-Hydrogels as a Pharmaceutical Excipient in Paracetamol/Carboplatin Release Systems

Organo-hydrogels were synthesized by using free radical polymerization in the emulsion technique, using agar, glycerol, sesame oil, ammonium persulfate as initiator and N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide or glutaraldehyde as crosslinker. Swelling behaviors, blood compatibility, antioxidant and properties of the organo-hydrogels were investigated thoroughly.
