Ülke imajı konusunda yapılan araştırmaların geçmişi 1930’lara kadar dayanmaktadır. Bir ülkenin ekonomik, politik, ekolojik, teknolojik durumu, tarihi ve kültürel geçmişi, insan kaynakları gibi özellikleri o ülkenin imajının oluşmasında belirleyici yer tutumaktadır. Ülke imajı üzerinde çok çalışılan bir konudur. Kamu Harcamalarının Türkiye’de Bazı Makro Ekonomik Değişkenler Üzerine Etkisi

Devlet için kamu harcaması hayati öneme haiz bir olgudur. Harcamaların ekonomiye etkisi literatürde farklı dönemlerde farklı şiddet ve boyutlarda tartışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, çalışmada, Türkiye’de 1980-2011 yılları arasında yapılan kamu harcamaları yıllık bazda ele alınarak harcamaların bazı makroekonomik değişkenlerle (büyüme, enflasyon, işsizlik, bütçe açığı, cari açık, faiz oranı) olan etkileşimi VAR yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, kamu harcamalarının bütçe açığı, enflasyon ve faiz oranını etkilediğini göstermiştir.
