Introduction and Development of a New National Holiday for 'The History and Commemoration of Ancestors' in Kyrgyzstan: A Content Analysis of News

Kyrgyzstan conceptualized and introduced a new national holiday, “the History and Commemoration of Ancestors”, by a presidential decree, in 2017. This holiday incorporates November 7, the Day of October Revolution, and November 8, and it aims to remember the significant historical events in the history of the Kyrgyz people and commemorate their ancestors.
