On the Recursive Sequence xn+1 = xn-7/1+xn-3

In this paper the solutions of the following difference equation is examined: x(n+1) = x(n-7)/1 + x(n-3), n = 0, 1, 2, 3, ... where the initial conditions are positive real numbers.

The Cauchy problem with a rapidly oscillating initial condition for the homogeneous Schrodinger equation was studied in [5].
