Death is one of the most important transitional periods in human life apart from birth and marriage. Among the Hamadan Turks, rituals related to death are actively carried on. The study covers the ideas about the death and the customs of the Turks of this region. The research is aimed at revealing beliefs and customs of the region's cultural life and passing them on to future generations. В статье раскрывается теория древнего происхождения кыргызов, согласно которой гунны - это древние предки кыргызского этноса, а один из их предводителей, Аттила, происходит из народа кыргызов. Для достоверности положений развиваемой теории рассматриваются несколько доказательств: историческое, историко-хронологическое, культуролого-археологическое, языково-лингвистическое, музыкально-культурологическое, медико-генетическое. Кроме того, используются описательно-исторический метод, анализ, синтез, индуктивный и дедуктивный методы, а также архивные материалы.
