Occurrence, identification and phylogenetic analyses of cereal cyst nematodes in Kyrgyzstan

The study investigated the status of cereal cyst nematodes (CCN) in the main wheat-growing areas of Kyrgyzstan in 2020. Soil samples were taken from 69 different wheat fields located in Chuy and Issyk-Kul provinces. CCN were found in thirty-one out of the sixty-nine locations surveyed. The highest occurrence of CCN was in the Tyup location in Issyk-Kul province with 81 cysts (250 cm3 soil)-1. The CCN populations were identified by both morphological and molecular analyses. Potential of three native Turkish isolates of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) (Steinernema feltiae, S. carpocapsae and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora) was evaluated against Holotrichapion pullum (Gyllenhal) (Coleoptera, Apionidae) under laboratory conditions. Suspensions of EPNs were applied at three concentrations (500, 1000 and 2000 IJs ml-1) and at two temperatures (15 and 20°C). After one week, mortality rate of H. pullum adults was assessed. В данной статье приводится результаты исследований наследования измененных признаков у мутантных форм мягкой пшеницы. Наиболее широкий спектр изменчивости выявлен у мутантных форм сорта Эритроспермум-760 и г/п 771, самый низкий – у мутантных форм г/п 762. Оценка отдельных способов внесения туков может быть различной в зависимости от площади питания растений. Особенности технологии возделывания сортов арбуза на юге Казахстана

Исходя из результатов при проведении многофакторного опыта на сорте арбуза «Достык-10» в условиях орошаемой зоны юга Казахстана при залегании грунтовых вод 2,0 - 2,5 метров, можно дать рекомендации бахчеводам, что при выращивании сорта «Достык-10» необходимо создавать оптимальную густоту посева 10 - 14 тысяч растений на гектар со схемами посева 1,8 - 0,5 м, 1,8 - 0,7 м соответственно.- Ключевые слова: достык-10, междоузлие, урожайность, скороспелость, плод, dostyk-10, internode, yield, early ripeness, fruit
