Regularized Asymptotics of the Solution of Systems of Parabolic Differential Equations

Asan ÖMÜRALİEV | Ella ABILAYEVA

The regularization method for singularly perturbed problems of S. A. Lomov is generalized to constructing the asymptotics of the solution of the first boundary value problem for systems of differential equations of parabolic type with a small parameter at all derivatives. It is shown that the asymptotics of the solution of the problem contains n exponential, 2n parabolic and 2n angle boundary layer functions. The exponential boundary layer function describes the boundary layer along t 0, the boundary layer along x 0 and x 1 is described by parabolic boundary layer functions. © 2022, University o ...Более

Improving salt tolerance of bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) with hydrogen sulfide

Atilla DURSUN

The current study examined the H2S applications on growth, biochemical and physiological parameters of bean seedlings under saline conditions. The findings of the study indicated that salt stress decreased plant growth and development, photosynthetic activity, and mineral and hormone content [excluding abscisic acid (ABA)] in bean seedlings. Plant and root fresh mass and dry mass with H2S applications increased as compared to the control treatment at the same salinity level. Both salinity and H2S treatments significantly affected the net assimilation rate, stomatal conductance, transpiration r ...Более

Determination of the levels of 17-beta Estradiol and Progesterone in Cow milk and Baby Follow-on milk by ELISA

Ali RIŞVANLI

The current study was undertaken to determine the 17-13 Estradiol (E2) and Progesterone (P4) levels in different milk products and some baby follow-on milk samples collected from retail markets in Turkiye. For this purpose, a total of 50 samples from 8 different product groups with different fat levels, production technologies, and production series were analyzed for natural P4 and E2 levels using a commercial ELISA kit. The highest E2 level was determined in UHT whole milk (3) (39.20 /- 6.73 pmol center dot L-1) while the lowest level was found in buttermilk (26.50 /- 1.85 pmol center dot L-1 ...Более

Investigation of Changes in Biochemical Parameters in Some Diseases Occurring During the Transition Period in Simmental Cows

Ali RIŞVANLI

The transition period is important in cows. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of retained fetal membranes (RFM), clinical mastitis, and metritis on biochemical and selected mineral levels in Simmental cows. Cows were divided into five groups; cows with RFM (n=17), clinical mastitis (n=25), metritis (n=21) and postpartum healthy cows (n=21) within 21 days postpartum, and also prepartum healthy cows (n=20) in the 15±5 days before the expected parturition date. The activity of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) (85.18±15.83 U/L), aspartate transaminase (AST) (123.02±19.15 U/L), and gamma-g ...Более

Bernstein-Nikolskii-Markov-type inequalities for algebraic polynomials in a weighted Lebesgue space

Meerim İmaş Kızı | Fahreddin ABDULLAYEV

In this paper, we study Bernstein, Markov and Nikol’skii type inequalities for arbitrary algebraic polynomials with respect to a weighted Lebesgue space, where the contour and weight functions have some singularities on a given contour. The effects of novel electrical teat dipping on some mastitis parameters in dairy herds

Ali RIŞVANLI

Electrical teat dipping (ETD) is a novel, patented method developed by the authors to control mastitis in dairy cows. Here we evaluate the efficacy of ETD in reducing the incidence of clinical mastitis and bulk tank milk somatic cell count (BTMSCC) on three dairy farms over 6 months. ETD was applied for morning and evening milking on three farms, while conventional teat dipping (CTD) was applied on the other three farms. The number of animals and quarters with clinical mastitis and monthly BTMSCC measurements were recorded. We found that the incidence of clinical mastitis was lower on farms us ...Более

How social media affecting the mental health of Gen-Z: A mixed method study

The goal of this study was to examine how social media affecting the mental health of Gen-Z. This study uses a systematic search method to identify the effects of social media on mental health. We use previous research articles for this study, the relevant effect of social media on mental health has been discussed and highlights how excessive use of social media is damaging our generation. Social media like Facebook, twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc. were considered for this study. From the studies and analysis, we find that the use of social media has the following effect on mental health on t ...Более

Impact of Subclinical Mastitis-causing Bacterial Species on the Composition and Chemical Properties of Milk

Ali RIŞVANLI

Background: Here we investigate whether the composition and some chemical properties of milk can correlate with bacterial species causing subclinical mastitis in cows. Methods: One hundred and eighty cows were used in the study. The California Mastitis Test (CMT) was applied to the selected cows. The cows were divided into four groups: cows with negative CMT (n45), the Escherichia coli (n45), Streptococcus agalactiae (n45) and Staphylococcus aureus (n45) groups.Result: Milk composition and some chemical properties were measured. The highest fat ratio (5.82 /- 0.34) was found in the Escherichia ...Более

Occurrence, identification and phylogenetic analyses of cereal cyst nematodes in Kyrgyzstan

Şenol YILDIZ | Tair Esenalı Uulu

The study investigated the status of cereal cyst nematodes (CCN) in the main wheat-growing areas of Kyrgyzstan in 2020. Soil samples were taken from 69 different wheat fields located in Chuy and Issyk-Kul provinces. CCN were found in thirty-one out of the sixty-nine locations surveyed. The highest occurrence of CCN was in the Tyup location in Issyk-Kul province with 81 cysts (250 cm3 soil)-1. The CCN populations were identified by both morphological and molecular analyses. According to the results, all populations were identified as Heterodera filipjevi. No variations in rDNA-ITS sequencing da ...Более

Bioremediation approaches for oil contaminated soils in extremely high-mountainous conditions

Nurzat TOTUBAYEVA | Ciyde TOKPAEVA | Canarbek İZAKOV | Mirlan MOLDOBAYEV

Development of methods for bioremediation of soils contaminated with petroleum products is one of the most urgent tasks of our time. This task is more difficult to perform in high-mountainous landscapes, at an altitude of more than 4 000 m a.s.l. Moreover, these high-mountain ecosystems are the most vulnerable to various kinds of anthropogenic impacts, and therefore the relevance of bioremediation is obvious. The research was conducted in the high-altitude ecosystems of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Kumtor mine. In this study was carried out on the bioremediation of oil contaminated soil using bi ...Более

Evaluation of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) lines for drought tolerance in Kyrgyzstan

Venera İSAYEVA

The study was carried out to explore drought stress indices in F4 hybrid generations of Triticum aestivum L. to select drought stress tolerant lines for rainfed areas of Kyrgyzstan. Wheat is the main food crop in Kyrgyzstan. There are about 0.3 million ha allotted for wheat, more than half of these sown areas (0.2 million ha) are in rainfed farming zones, where the amount of precipitation rarely exceeds 300-400 mm per year. The study was conducted in 2019 at the experimental field of Agricultural Faculty of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Eighteen hybrid lines of spring wheat and two released ...Более
