Impact of Subclinical Mastitis-causing Bacterial Species on the Composition and Chemical Properties of Milk

Background: Here we investigate whether the composition and some chemical properties of milk can correlate with bacterial species causing subclinical mastitis in cows.Methods: One hundred and eighty cows were used in the study. The California Mastitis Test (CMT) was applied to the selected cows. Canine coronavirus infection in dogs in Turkey: Virological and serological evidence

In the present study, virological and serological investigations were performed to determine the presence and prevalence of Canine corona virus (CCoV) infection in dog population in Turkey. Sera samples were analyzed for specific antibodies against CCoV by indirect enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (i-ELISA) while leukocyte samples were inoculated onto monolayers of Madin Darby Canine Kidney permanent cell culture. First report on seroprevalence of bluetongue, border disease and peste des petits ruminants virus infections in sheep in Kyrgyzstan

In this study, the presence of antibodies against Bluetongue Virus (BTV), Border Disease Virus (BDV) and Peste des Petits Ruminants virus (PPRV), were evaluated for the first time in Kyrgyzstan. A total of 655 serum samples were collected from healthy sheep (Jaydara breed) from different regions of Kyrgyzstan (144 from Issik Gol region, 208 from Narin region, 189 from Talas region and 114 from Çuy region).
