The effect of ovulatory follicle size at the time of insemination on pregnancy rate in lactating dairy cows

The aims of this study were to determine the factors that affect follicle size at the time of artificial insemination (AI) and to detect the relationship between ovulatory follicle size at the time of AI and pregnancy rate in dairy cows. A total of 1428 follicle size measurements were obtained from Holstein-Friesian (HF) and Swedish Red (SR) cows that were inseminated with the fixed-timed AI protocols used in this study. The effects of varying levels of dietary starch on reproductivetraits in lactating dairy cows

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of three different dietary starch levels on postpartum milk yield, blood metabolites, and reproductive traits in cows. A total of 23 primiparous Holstein-Friesian cows were fed three different diets including different starch levels on a dry matter basis from parturition until day 80. The purpose of this study was to investigate the formation of the plexus sacralis in the Kyrgyz pheasant (Phasianus colchicus mongolicus) and the origin of the nerves emerging from the plexus sacralis. Five adult male Kyrgyz pheasants were used that had been hunted in their natural habitat near the town of Tokmok in the Chuy region of Kyrgyzstan. Morphometric development and changes in the growth and development dynamics of Japanese quail populations bred in Kyrgyzstan

The purpose of the present study was to determine the live weight development phases from hatchling to adolescent bird of Japanese quails bred in Kyrgyzstan, and to determine the age-related changes in body measurements.
