Lutpulla Mutellip is an important writer and poet of Modern Uighur Literature. He has a special place among other Uighuran poets and writers because of the education he received (which was unlike that received by his contemporaries, Abdulhaluk Uygur, Elkem Ethem, Abduriyim Teleşov Ötkür), because of the personages who made an influence on his understanding of art, because of writing in the genres of the theater and the filetion – genres that were never before employed in Uighuran literature – and because of publishing articles to introduce these genres to the Uighuran people.
