Synthesis of Smart Food Packaging from Poly (Gelatin-co-Dimethyl Acrylamide). Citric Acid-Red Apple peel Extract

A novel and smart hydrogel was synthesized from N, N dimethyl acrylamide (DMAAm), gelatin, and citric acid (CA) red apple peel extract (RApE) to be utilized as a multi-functional food packaging material. The p(Gelatin-co-DMAAm)/CA-RApE was prepared through a redox polymerization technique in film form in petri dishes. Determination of AFM(1) Levels of Mare's Milk and Koumiss Produced in the Highlands of the Kyrgyz Republic

Mare's milk and koumiss are two very important basic foodstuffs in central Asia.This study aimed to research the AFM(1) contamination in mare's milk and koumiss samples collected from local producers in the highlands in Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Bishkek and Talas regions of Kyrgyz Republic. For this purpose, 75 raw mare's milk and 75 koumiss samples collected in May, June and July 2017 were analyzed using the ELISA method. Lemna minor, a hyperaccumulator shows elevated levels of Cd accumulation and genomic template stability in binary application of Cd and Ni: a physiological and genetic approach

In this study, to determine whether having potential to be used as hyperaccumulator for Cd and Ni, numerous experiments were designed for conducting assessments for physiological and genotoxic changes along with defining possible alterations on mineral nutrient status of Lemna minor L. by applying Cd-Ni binary treatments (0, 100, 200 and 400 mu M).
