Modification of layered double hydroxides (LDHs) is known to be beneficial for boosting the consistent formation of reactive oxygen species (ROSs) and enhancing the photocatalytic process. Herein, a facile synthesis method for preparing carbon nanotube (CNT) and biochar (BC)-based NiCr LDH (NC) nanocomposites as a sonophotocatalyst for the efficient degradation of rifadin (RA) was provided. The formation of thin nanosheet structures of NC along with porous and nanotube structures of BC and CNT was well approved by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and high-resolution transmission electron mic ...Daha fazlası
Landfill leachate treatment involved with the membrane bioreactor (MBR) combined with membrane treatment via nanofiltration (NF) and/or reverse osmosis (RO) is widely used in Turkey. This treatment produces landfill leachate membrane concentrates (LLMCs) with an undesirably high concentration of contaminants. In the study, two different nanofiltration concentrates of leachate were coagulated. Coagulant dosages from 0.10 to 5.0 g of Me3/L (Me3: Al3 or Fe3), and the pH values ranged from 4.0 to 8.0 and 3.0-9.0 for Al-based and Fe-based coagulants, respectively. The most efficient pH values were ...Daha fazlası
Poly and perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFASs) are a group of chemicals that are widely used and are difficult to purify. Within this group, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), known for its highly polar and strong carbon-fluorine bonds, is a frequently encountered species in surface water, drinking water, and groundwater. In this study, we investigated the efficiency of electrooxidation (EO) in PFOA removal, optimization of EO parameters, and groundwater simulation in a realistic scenario. The EO optimization experiments were performed with a boron-doped diamond (BDD) anode for different values of pH, ...Daha fazlası
Laminated glass is made by combining glass layers with polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or a different adhesive with the help of heat and pressure. Its popularity is increasing in the building industry as a protective material. However, despite the popularity of laminated glass as a structural material, delamination is recognized as a highly undesirable problem inducing major damage to laminated glass. The effect of boundary conditions on the delamination strength of laminated glass is observed in this study. It is concluded that the location and size of delamination have a considerable effect in deter ...Daha fazlası
The problem of control of the process described by the nonlinear differential equation with partial derivatives of the first order, with conditions at t 0 and in a sequence n of points x1 < x2 ... < xn is solved. The criterion of quality of control is the integrated quadratic functional, which depends on a final state of system and set n of controlling parameters. The method of increment of functional is applied to reception of conditions of optimality, and the method of additional argument (MAA) is applied for the decision of the nonlinear equations with partial derivatives.
Heterogeneous electro-Fenton (EF) is a powerful technology for the removal of emerging organic pollutants from wastewater. However, the development of catalysts with high activity towards the production of •OH by decomposing H2O2 remains a challenge. Herein, Co-doped ZnFe LDH as a heterogeneous catalyst with 2D plate-like morphology was produced by a co-precipitation method. Co-doping increased the pore volume of ZnFe LDH from 0.188 cm3/g to 0.2711 cm3/g and pore diameter from 5.305 nm and 9.39 nm. EF process consisted of a hydrothermally activated graphite felt cathode and a platinum plate an ...Daha fazlası
Ovarian cancer is a gynecological disease causing many deaths among women around the world. Carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA-125) is a single biomarker known to be a tumor marker of ovarian cancer. CA-125 is widely used to monitor the treatment process, recurrences, and for the detection of ovarian cancer. Herein, organo-hydrogels were prepared in order to detect CA-125 sensitively in serum medium with electrochemical methods. Organo-hydrogels were obtained by the free radical polymerization reaction using agar and glycerol with varying proportions of sweet almond oil using methylene bisacrylamide ...Daha fazlası
This study is the first to explore the possibility of utilizing CuCr LDH decorated on reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and graphene oxide (GO) as sonophotocatalysts for the degradation of dimethyl phthalate (DMP). CuCr LDH and its nanocomposites were successfully fabricated and characterized. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) along with high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) both evidenced the formation of randomly oriented nanosheet structures of CuCr LDH coupled with thin and folded sheets of GO and rGO. The impact of diverse processes on the degradation efficiency of DMP in t ...Daha fazlası
Let φ={φk}k=−∞∞ denote the extended Takenaka–Malmquist system on unit circle T and let σn,φ(f), f∈L1(T), be the Fejér-type operator based on φ, introduced by V. N. Rusak. We give the convergence criteria for σn,φ(f) in Banach space C(T). Also we prove the Voronovskaya-type theorem for σn,φ(f) on class of holomorphic functions representable by Cauchy-type integrals with bounded densities.

The carbonous-based nanocomposites of CoCr layered double hydroxide (LDH) with graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) were prepared. The successful synthesis of the CoCr LDH in hydrotalcite crystalline structure was deduced from the pattern obtained from X-ray diffraction, and the chemical composition of its surface was checked by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The prosperous decorating of LDH on the sheets of rGO and GO was authenticated by the energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis and micrographs of scanning electron and transmission electron microscopy. The photo-as ...Daha fazlası
At present, poly N-isopropyl acrylamide (PNIPAM) polymer composites containing titanium dioxide (TiO2) and carbon-TiO2 (C-TiO2) were designed for photocatalytic glucose electrooxidation by coating the textile fabric surface such as wool blended fabrics called Sign Cocana (SC), Valencia (VC), Dante (DT), and Broadway (BW). C-TiO2 was obtained from TiO2 in a furnace under hexane gas with a certain temperature and time. Polymer synthesis was realized by a polymerization method. The surface analyses of these polymer composite fabric electrodes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy-ene ...Daha fazlası
